Recommended Chapter Calendar

January

 

Regent:

● Conduct Annual Meeting

● Deadline January 31st - pay membership dues

● Request a motion to approve the Chapter Annual Report after being read by the Recording Secretary

● Elect chapter Delegates and Alternates and record in minutes

● Obtain Delegate and Proxy forms

● Elect Audit Committee

● In uneven years, elect and install Chapter officers

● In the election year of the National President-Elect, vote on a candidate

● in the election year of National Officers, vote on candidates

 

Treasurer:

● Present Annual Financial Report at the Annual Meeting for approval

● Provide complete financial records to the Audit Committee

● Forward Annual Financial Report to the State Treasurer

● Forward dues and current membership roster to the State Treasurer

 

February

 

Regent:

● suggest nominees for State Audit Committee, State Delegates, and Alternates and record in minutes

● In even years, vote for State Officers if there’s more than one candidate

 

Treasurer:

● Deadline February 15th - forward dues, annual financial report, and Chapter roster to the State Treasurer

● Collect and send money from members attending ACM

 

March

 

Regent:

● Attend ACM as a Chapter Delegate

 

April

 

Regent:

● In uneven years, suggest nominees for State Nominating Committee

● Observe Founder’s Day on or near April 14th

 

June/ July / August

 

Chapters may choose whether or not to meet

 

September

 

Regent:

● In uneven years, suggest recommendations for State Officers via the Nominating Committee form

 

October

 

Regent:

● In even years, elect a Nominating Committee

● Discuss any changes to Chapter dues and vote

 

Treasurer:

● Remind members, dues will be collected at the November meeting

 

November

 

Regent:

● In even years, present the slate of Chapter Officers

● Deadline December 1st, in uneven years, submit alternative candidates for State Officers via the State Nominating Committee form

 

Treasurer:

● Collect dues

● Forward Sales Tax collected for the year to the State Treasurer, if applicable

 

December
