2025 Holiday Party

On December 13, DBE in Kansas members gathered for a festive holiday party celebrating sisterhood, fellowship, and the spirit of the season. Hosted at the home of Lynda Krupp, the event brought together everyone with delicious food, meaningful connections, and holiday fun.

Guests enjoyed a generous spread of homemade dishes, including a variety of savory quiches, warm cinnamon rolls, hearty breakfast casseroles, and other seasonal favorites. Throughout the morning, many cups of tea and coffee were shared, all thoughtfully provided by the Lady Nancy Astor Chapter.

Holiday entertainment was a highlight of the gathering. The Somerset House Chapter generously provided prizes for a festive game led by Christmas elf Brenda Marks, bringing laughter and excitement to the celebration. Many attendees walked away with fun holiday goodies.

The white elephant gift exchange, where each guest brought a gift to share with fellow DBE sisters, was filled with surprises, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments as gifts found new homes.

In addition, guests had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets forbeautifully assembled gift baskets provided by the participating chapters. Proceeds from the raffle will support the DBE Delegate Fund, helping send members to the NCM in May.

Between the games, gift exchange, and raffle prizes, everyone went home with something special. More importantly, the day served as a heartfelt celebration of the holidays, strengthened bonds of sisterhood, and reaffirmed the fellowship that defines DBE in Kansas.

2024 Holiday Party

The members of DBE in Kansas and their guests were invited to attend the 2024 Holiday Party on December 1st at Osteria Il Centro in Kansas City, MO.

Guests enjoyed a menu of Pasta, Salad, and Appetizers. Lissa Young's creative design made the tables festive.  Thanks to her and other members who supplied the lights. The individual chapters provided raffle baskets, which were raffled off, with winners going home with some lovely gifts.

Thanks to Ann McElhenny and her committee members who organized the event.

It was a fun day filled with delicious food and fun festivities!
