The Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) is a philanthropic national organization of women of British and British Commonwealth birth or heritage.  Founded in 1909 in New York, the organization has grown and now supports four homes across the US.  The six Kansas City, Lawrence & Topeka chapters support the British home in Oakbrook, Illinois and numerous local charities.  The British Faire & Tea is our largest annual fundraiser.
