Garden Party Tea 2026

The Bess of Hardwicke Chapter welcomed guests to a delightful Garden Party Tea on Saturday, June 13, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, Kansas. The beautifully decorated venue created the perfect setting.

Regent Lynne Chase opened the event with an engaging presentation on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II, setting the tone for a memorable afternoon. Guests enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea featuring tiered trays filled with savory finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of delicious sweet treats.

The event also featured exciting raffle baskets, a charming photo backdrop showcasing Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, and specialty tables offering British-themed gifts and tea-related items for purchase.
